Injection/Assembly Operator

Job Description:

To successfully perform the job of an Injection/Assembly Operator, an individual must be able to assist all departments and successfully perform each of the identified key functions and responsibilities highlighted below. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Major Responsibilities:

• Operate a manual lathe to do rubber cutbacks on stators

• Operate overhead cranes

• Assemble and disassemble mold tooling

• Handle tubes at an elevated temperature

• Assist Mechanics in repair work as necessary

Skills:

• Stators reline facility experience is a plus

• Desma injection machine experience is a plus

• Manual lathe experience is a plus

• Reading blueprints

• Using a measuring tape

• Must be mechanically inclined

• Work independently without direct supervision

• Able to work a flexible schedule and work overtime

• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Attention to detail

Education:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
